"Many famous people and personalities came on Friday, to listen the "Magic Flute" in the "House for Mozart"
en la segunda se aclara:
"The biggest star came to the first major opera premiere at the Salzburg Festival, but quite by accident past. Rolando Villazon: "I just come from a rehearsal to my opera-recital."

  2. Star Tenor Sacrifices Sleeve to Paparazzi

Star tenor Rolando Villazón narrowly escaped a mauling at the hands of an unusually aggressive member of the paparazzi on Sunday at the prestigious Salzburg Festival, in Salzburg, Austria. Eye-witnesses recount that the unsuspecting rockstar tenor was innocently exiting the Festspielhaus where he had just finished rehearsals for the upcoming “Il re pastore,” when he was set upon by the over-zealous photographer, as evidenced in a photo from the Kurier. In her attempt to catch the tenor, the woman managed only to tear a sleeve from Villazón’s jacket before slipping on a banana peel the quick-witted tenor had thrown over his shoulder. The superstar fled down a back alley to the nearby Salzburg Cathedral, where he sought and was granted sanctuary from further plundering of his garments. The cloistered sisters, who are carefully safeguarded behind its heavy doors, came to Mr. Villazón's aid and also treated him to a very nice lunch, which included a delicious assortment of cakes and wienerschnitzel, a particular favorite of the beloved tenor. Although providing refuge to rockstars is usually strictly forbidden by the church, special dispensation was granted due to the tenor’s overwhelming popularity with the shy and gentle sisters, who refer to him “the coolest thing ever.” According to Reverend Mother Lady Gaga the Hun, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Nunnery, “Mr. Villazón is always welcome here at the abbey, particularly when he feels his garments are in any jeopardy whatsoever. The exception to this rule is if, God forbid, Mr. Villazón presents himself at our gates attired in any form of red velvet or satin, in which case he will be mercilessly thrown back to the wolves. He may rock my world, but, please, we have our standards.” Although the fortunate tenor was able to escape with the rest of his jacket intact, he has been put on notice regarding further sartorial transgressions, and one can only hope that he has prudently heeded the gentle warning of the good sisters.
